| - Look. This place is hard to review because what I ate may not be on your menu. And that's the beauty and splendor of this place. Every temporary dish is what other restaurants would hope to tout as their signature, legacy dish.
Hell, FnB shouldn't even show you the menu because when you look at it, all the ingredients confuse you and leave you with so many questions. A lamb manti what? A what-kind-of falafel? And who is Sina making the sauce? Pasta with what kind of sausage?
It doesn't matter. Try it. All of it. Stop looking at the menu, trying to figure that shit out. You can't.
Here's what I always do: I pick a main entrée and a wine. Then, I just stare at the always helpful server and ask, "what side dish best complements my selection?" They always recommend a winning combo. Then, I ask, "What is one absolute must-have for starters, and what's a novel one you're most excited about?" I order both of them. Every time I do this, I get an amazing experience.
And save room for dessert, but skip the cheese/apple dish if it's on there. I found it to be too stale relative to all the flavor in this restaurant.
