Flemings is my new favorite upscale steakhouse. Everything I have tried, literally everything, has been the best thing ever. Last night I took my parents here for Easter dinner. We started with the clam chowder soup, which was so creamy and chock-full of clams, we all were blown away. Next, we had wedge salads with crisp peppery bacon and the exact right amount of blue cheese. The blue cheese dressing was a work of art. After that came the prime rib dinner, 2 lobster tails, and filet mignon. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Finally, we shared two desserts: the crème brûlée and the lava chocolate cake. These desserts were a perfect end to the meal with the exact right level of sweetness and a fabulous dish of chantilly cream as an accompaniment.
Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being invasive. They also take reservations which we appreciated. Flemings is a high-end restaurant, but our meal including tip was only around $250--so it didn't break the bank. We all left full and agreeing that the meal was worth the price.
