  • We were in the area and found this place on Yelp. It is an industrial area but very close to Fashion Show Mall. There is not a lot of seating but we got in before noon so we were fine. The owner is from Arkansas but the BBQ wasn't true Arkansas. Why? The meat didn't have the smoky flavor that Arkansas BBQ has. My wife liked it because it didn't have the heavy smoke flavor so it is a matter of taste. The BBQ sauce was as good as I've ever tasted, similar to #2 at the Whole Hog (for you Arkansas transplants). We saw some really good looking stuff as we shamelessly looked at everyone else's food. They had a huge hamburger piled high that looked amazing. Check out the pictures as someone must have posted one of this thing. Bottom line, it was very good. My wife may have given it 5 stars but I rated a 4 because I missed the smoky flavor. We will definitely be back and recommend this place.
