| - Don't waste your time. I stopped in today because my iPhone 6 wasn't connecting to the network. Figured they could help me out, after all, the big sign on the front says "Verizon." Yeah, no. Within 2 minutes of talking with them, the salesperson (who to his credit, was trying to get into my Verizon account) pulls over his "manager" who tells me that I just need a new phone. I had just received a replacement phone last week under warranty. The salesperson/manager told me that "since it's a 6 and that's 3 years old, Verizon will just keep sending me bad refurbished phones." He was super-pushy and frankly really made me feel uncomfortable. He was supposed to be representing Verizon, yet he's basically saying they are unethical. Great. I asked why my phone would have just started having this problem today, he had no answer other than obviously my phone was bad and I needed to upgrade. What a load of crap. He was aggressive and loud enough that other customers looked over while he was talking (down) to me. Almost like he was "schooling me" on how I needed a new phone. It was absolutely the most unprofessional and pathetic sales attempt ever. I told him I didn't want a new phone and left.
Here's the best part. I spent 5 minutes on the phone with Verizon, they were able to reset my phone remotely and diagnose that it was my SIM card (not the phone itself). Hmmm, so the geniuses at the "Verizon" (ahem, Go Wireless) store not only couldn't figure out the problem (not like they spent any time trying), they weren't even close. Like I said, don't waste your time here.
