| - Ice Pan, you are the best thing to come out of Korea since Korean BBQ & Kim Jong-il! Ok, so maybe the latter part of that statement isn't exactly true ;)
I had no idea that this place even existed here. But, to be honest, I had never stepped foot inside Harrah's until today. Is that weird? Or maybe you're just weird for having stepped foot inside this place!
Anyways...this place is absolutely amazing! Apparently, it is the only one in the U.S. currently. I believe they had one in Hollywood at one point though. I don't know why they don't have these all over. Forget Coldstone & Marble Slab! This is pretty much ice cream made to order, while you watch. The girl that was working behind the counter was such a spitfire & really friendly & full of information & certainly a master of her craft; by far one of the most enthusiastic & happy employees that I have ever met & that took so much pride in her work; definitely a model employee.
I ordered a banana base, with non fat milk, Reeses' peanut butter cup, and more bananas, finished off with caramel, in a cup. It was a very neat process to watch. She was very fast & methodical, as well as precise, as she slapped it up, flipped it, and rubbed it down, OH NO! & Boom! Ice cream.
It was soooo good! It is very misleading when they first start to make it, because it yields a lot more than what you think it might make.
I hope this place grows & grows! I think it is a great way to make ice cream & will probably catch on. I know they have plans forlocations in Kuwait & Dubai, which will really do well over there. I think places like this are kind of lost on the U.S. demographic though.
I highly recommend this place!
