I haven't done a Vegas club review in a minute but recently partied here so why not a quick update?!
Well if you can see my old review from 2011...Tao has been around for a while! In fact it's been open for more then 10 years which is almost unheard of in the nightlife industry.
Tao is still a solid choice but the caveat is...you have to do bottle service. The general admission experience here sucks because the club isn't as large as other newer venues and it gets insanely packed. The good news is that any reputable host should be able to offer you some great bottle service minimums and deals here. Depending on the night, a minimum of $1000 should be able to secure your table in the main room which is where the action is...there are many random tables in the hallways and you definitely don't want to be that far away!
Tao is also promoting their new bottle service concept called "V.I.WE" which is a "shared" bottle service experience. Essentially you are paying for an open bar wristband but you get your drinks from select table areas with other people who purchase the wristbands. Yes, the alcohol is UNLIMITED (Vodka and Tequila). It's only about ~$100 for males and ~$50 for females so not a bad deal at all.
Tao is definitely a Vegas mainstay and although it lacks the appeal of some of the newer nightclubs, it's still popular. As mentioned, based on my MANY YEARS of clubbing experience...I give it a 2 star rating for general admission but a 4 star rating for table service experience. If you're on a budget but still looking for a VIP experience, Tao is worth a look!
