  • Going to the dentist is not something anyone looks forward to, but Gentle Care Dental makes it as pleasant as it could be. Everyone who works there is very friendly and caring. What I love is that the overall mood of the office is calm and low-key which helps a lot. Dr. Barela and his hygienists are all very mellow and comforting in their demeanor. Also, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be taken in when I arrive for an appointment. When I first started going to Gentle Care Dental a few years ago, I had a root canal performed by Dr. Barela. He actually called me the next day to ask how I was doing !! When I told him that I was still having some pain (although I did have pain meds) he actually told me to call him 2 days later if I was still in any pain (which would be Sunday) and he would meet me at his office ON SUNDAY to see what the problem was !!! Doesn't get any better than that !
