| - Waitress named Brittany M. was terrible. Treated us like we were at a Chuck-E-Cheese. Other wait staff appeared well trained and were helpful to other tables which made it worse. We were served red wine in a white wine glass, and asked for it to be changed. We then realized that she had shorted us wine compared to other people who had ordered wine by the glass in the restaurant- their glasses 3/4 of the way full... ours 1/4. It appeared she was just too lazy to open another bottle. Also she was no help in describing the menu/sauces/etc... She also ignored us three times when we tried to get her attention, never refilled our glasses, and only brought us bread once- not offering more. For this type of menu/price, I expect more with regard to service. Fazoli's wait-staff is more accommodating and has a better attitude.
With regard to the food... Pizzas have been good at take out, but inconsistent. For example, variations in thickness of prosciutto (sometimes thick/thin) and cook on the crust (sometimes well charred, other times under-cooked for this style).
We had dine-in pasta last night. The portion size with regard to the past is lacking, and so is the ambiance for a $16 + plate of pasta. The veal cannelloni was well done (a tad bit salty), but the shrimp scampi pasta lacked flavor on the whole. In reality, portion sizes were approximately appetizer/tapas size at other nice Italian restaurants. Even at $12 a plate, I would consider these portion sizes too small.
Overall, if you're willing to roll the dice with service, and are willing to pay more for a little, then this is the place for you.
