Hired TGI Homecrafters based on reviews. They quoted me 6-8 weeks on my garage addition, Project went over 7 months! There were so many days no one was here working, it was pathetic. They did not provide a port-a-potty for their workers. As a result, my backyard became their personal bathroom, NOT GOOD! Many mistakes and redo's. We were left without electricity in part of our home for a weekend due to the "electricians" mistake. They didn't seem concerned enough to come out and fix it until the following Monday. Things were talked about during the initial start. But because it was not in the contract they said it was never talked about and as a result we needed to pay for these things. Some things came up missing but were eventually returned. Subcontractor who laid the brick used a bright white grout, which no where near matched our house! Brick had to be torn out and redone several times. Job site was often left a mess and cigarette butts thrown carelessly around the yard by subcontractors. Jokes were often made about TGI receiving mail at my house because the job kept going on and on. I'm sure they're good people but schedule and attention to the job really needs to be addressed.
