  • When me and my sister entered this shop, we were very excited! We were greeted by 2 friendly girls who were very knowledgeable and sweet! They even wrote a cute positive message on our cups. However our visit took a sour turn when we decided to drink our tea on the patio at the back. We had purchased a tarot card set earlier that day and had laid out our cards on the table to do a reading on each other while sipping our teas. The owners sister came out and told us to put our cards away as it was not acceptable on their property. This saddened me as we were just learning and having fun. Moreover, it is a spiritual practice for some and made me angry that ppl do not have the right to express themselves freely here. When we addressed this situation with the co-owner(who is very friendly) she defended the lady's actions but apologized that she made us feel bad. She also added that this is a spiritual neutral place- so u can't express ur spiritual beliefs here. So only come here if u want to avoid deep spiritual discussions that one would typically have in a cafe.
