  • By far, the most impressive Assembly of God church that I have ever attended over the years with LA Dream Center being the second. I first attended this church when Tommy was the pastor and Dream center's grand opening in like 1992 when Luke was pastor and let me say that the most amazing thing was not the size of the building, the location, or the preaching but the bus ministry, the great lengths that these guys go to inorder to put on a show to share the message that is bigger than life - The absolute coolest thing that I have ever seen at any church I have ever been to, is the mayor of phoenix sitting next a honeless person, sitting next to a soccer mom, sitting next to a gang banger, sitting next to a biker, who was sitting next to one of the city's biggest lawyers! I mean that is Christianity. That first experience made a lasting impact on my perception of Christ and what he stood for. Simply amazing. I returned to my home church and started a street ministry immediately, taking a 1969 Ford Van and refurbishing it with a huge sound system in it to do performances on the street.
