  • A flat tire is always a bummer, especially if you're like me and you are allergic to car maintenance...even putting gas in it. I have had my share of flat tires, being from the pothole riddled city of Detroit - then recently driving around the horribly warped streets of Jackson, MS. I feel like I know more than I'm comfortable with knowing about tire repair. I woke up this morning to a completely flat tire. Luckily this Discount Tire location is right up the street from me. I arrived about an hour before closing. There were several customers ahead of me, but these folks managed to fit me in. I enjoyed great customer service and light conversation with the gentleman who checked me in. The wait wasn't long at all. The best part of my experience was...they fixed my tire FREE OF CHARGE! I imagine all they did was bend the rim, fixing the gap and filled the tire with air. Probably something they do as often as I put on lipgloss. But, surely I expected to pay for the labor. Nope...free. I am a very happy camper and I shall return to purchase a new rim soon.
