I went in today, by myself, just to ask questions about a daith and migraines. I spoke at length with Tish up front and she was great. Obviously it's not a guarantee that it will solve the migraine problem. Tish answered each one of my questions very thoroughly and never pressured me in any way. But for some reason I was like what the hell and decided to do it.
I'm a VERY big baby when it comes to needles. Like I need someone to hold my hand when I get a flu shot. Tish made sure I had some food in my stomach and I waited to get pierced by Ana. I had read some wonderful reviews of her on Yelp and she was the only one I wanted to touch me.
Right away Ana saw that I was terrified and she was unbelievably reassuring. She explained everything that was going on and talked about how women should be empowered and I didn't need anyone to hold my hand. She rubbed my shoulders and patted me and just generally tried to make me feel at ease. He shouted me the receiving tube, placed it in my ear and said here we go and bam it was done. I yelped, but it was over so fast I honestly don't know if it hurt! Ana leaned the chair back and let me relax for a bit and then put the jewelry in. And I started to cry. Lol!! Not from pain, but I think from relief. Ana just hugged me and we laughed. We talked for a bit while the adrenaline wore off, she took a pic of the piercing for me and we took a selfie. She hugged me again and I left. That was about 2 hours ago and it's just now starting to ache a little.
Seriously- if you feel the need to put more holes in your body, GO SEE ANA!!!
