| - I wish I could give zero stars. Please trust the horrible reviews and never step foot in this place or any other Tire Works. To keep a log story short, I went in because my gear shift was sticking and I had to manually shift from park and reverse. $450 later, my gear shift was "fixed". Over the next 3 weeks, the part malfunctions again, was replaced two more times, and broke again. During this time I had several upsetting phone calls with them (as you can imagine). After getting the part "fixed" the second time (and these upsetting phone calls), my brake system went in to failure. My brakes had never been an issue before. I took it in, was told by an assistant manager that it was just brake fluid and pads. Got them replaced and when my father picked the car up the next day, it did the exact same thing as when I had to pull over in a parking lot the day before (no acceleration, burning brakes, etc). He took it right back and eventually it cost close to $1000 to fix.
I finally took my car to a different mechanic (after the gear shift broke a 3rd time) and found out they were misdiagnosing the problem the entire time. Instead of actually testing to try and find the real problem (which was my gear shift module under the dashboard), they just kept replacing the gear shift. Which, by the was, was left laying in my front seat when I picked my car up. They also broke my storage area cover in my dash board and it took me pulling back up to the garage and telling them they broke it for it to get fixed- and it took two times after that.
The customer service is horrible (minus Byron, who was decent to work with). I never received a phone call from them when they had my car. I had to call and get updates (including one in which they didn't feel it was important to let me know they ordered the wrong part and they were going to have my car an extra two days). Don't bother calling the district manager, Jasmine. It's a waste of time. I just worked with my credit card company to get my money back, thankfully!
Please- stay far, far away from this place!!
