  • This was ALMOST a good idea, hence the two starts. Although honestly it's a 1.5 star at best. The semi redeeming qualities are: 1. Was able to drop off car and go straight to shuttle. No looking for a parking spot, then walking a few 100 yards to a shuttle stop. 2. It has a dedicate shuttle to and from the Airport, so no bouncing from stop to stop. 3. You don't have to remember where you parked after a long trip, just call and the car is waiting in the vicinity* of wear you pay. What killed it for me? The drop off made me love it, and the pick-up made me instantly hate it! Upon arrival to the airport after over 10 hours of flying (I returned from Rome, Italy) just wanting to get the car and drive home to go to bed (arrived before 9pm). Enroute walking to baggage claim in the main terminal I called ahead for the car, wanting it ready for me to make the still 2 hour drive ahead. From 9:30 to just barely after 10:00pm I was WAITING IN A MILE LONG LINE. It was horrible!! And at first only one cashier. They eventually got a second which didn't seem to speed up the process much... if any. How is it possible this place doesn't have an electronic pay method on your way out?!? Least give you the option of paying cash at the stand, or using your card on the way out. You can still tip (cash anyway) if you pay with your card on the way out. Instead, everyone is crammed into a line which went from the inside out. The cashiers take forever to process the payment (by card), and then my car is basically at the entrance of the garage. A good 60 yards (or more) from where I paid. Even better, NO ONE TOLD ME. I kept looking, and finally hit the button to make it honk at me to find it. Speed of processing and customer service on the return side to get your car. Horrible. It was the worst experience I've ever dealt with in getting my car. Oh, and the covered parking "perk" in my opinion is total crap. It looked like my car was pressure washed with pollen upon my return. I mean, it literally was "dusting off" as I drove away from the garage. Like they parked it IN a flower garden for good measure. Next time, I'll save the 3 to 4 dollars a day and park in long term parking. I could have caught the shuttle, walked to my car, loaded it, and paid/left before I even got HALF way through the line at the valet garage. Save the few dollars a day, and the headache, DON'T USE this option at Charlotte Airport!
