| - This used to be an excellent dermatology provider. Had fair pricing and quality treatment. It used to be that if the provider applied a few sprays of liquid nitrogen to treat something on your skin (very common in dermatology practices), you were charged reasonably, and for very tiny blemishes you might even get a courtesy spritz or two. That has changed. Now, the last time I received liquid nitrogen spray to treat a small keratosis (brownish nuisance growth), the cost was $168. To me, this is excessive and gouge pricing for a few spritzes of nitrogen spray. The doctors and staff there are fine, but their pricing has escalated such that I feel the costs to get dermatology treatment there is now unreasonable and I will seek another dermatology office. Also, don't bother to get there early, and take along a book, because the wait time to get seen after checking in can get quite lengthy these days.
Edit after their copy/paste blah, blah reply: You didn't even address my primary complaint about your practice....gouge pricing for simple and cheap application of nitrogen spray. It takes usually a portion of a minute to spray that on and you buy it VERY cheap, yet now you charge big $$$ for a few sprays from your nitrogen canister/sprayer. Talk about a profit margin. But to try to be understanding of Affiliated Dermatology's position on this: all those new Porsches every year get expensive....those big bucks have to come from somewhere. I get it now.
