  • Based on Tara L's review of places to go in Toronto, I knew I had to get myself to the ROM! This was the first place I visited on my trip and it was amazing! The Dale Chihuly exhibit was just about to wrap up, so I paid for the all access pass to see all of the exhibits. The blown glass was simply incredible. The ROM is so big you literally need hours if you want to go through everything. It took me about 4 hours and I still feel I didn't see everything. I loved the Early European, Greek and Egyptian exhibits. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the flow of movement was great and there is so much to see. There were also children activities going on so it was neat to see the kids being engaged in so much history. I used to live in Washington D.C. so I was spoiled with the Smithsonian museums. So happy to know the ROM isn't too far and I can always come back!
