I've never been here for food, but the menu looks good and I've heard some favorable reviews about the chow here.
What I go here for, and what I think is its biggest selling point is the atmosphere and the service. There's not too many legit independent pubs and grills out there anymore but this is one of them.
No frills decor and a simple bar with throw back chairs and benches are the seating options. There's a cool casual patio facing onto Niagara St. Prices are fair and the staff (we were served by Dawn) are all top shelf.
It's a quick stumble home for me and a cool place for getting a few pints.
They are not the fish and chip joint
