One of those Old Time Wild West Biker Bars (OTWWBB™) with dollar bills stapled on the walls and bras hanging on the ceiling -- you know the kind! That being said, it doesn't feel like a tourist trap; this is an actual stopover for real-life bikers on the Vegas-Pahrump brothel run. The place is actually legit!
Astonishingly only 15 minutes from southwest Vegas, the temperature (and the ambiance) up here is about 20 degrees cooler -- it's located in a pine forest at the top of the Spring Mts, right at the side of the highway. So it's a great getaway in the summer -- they roast pigs and whatnot on the patio, and you can party all night, then stumble to your campsite in the forest up the road. In the winter, they fire up the cozy stone fireplace, and it's a great place to stop for coffee & whiskey.
I can't speak to the food, as I haven't eaten here yet...but on my last visit I saw people eating burgers and fries and stuff like that, and it looked pretty standard. I'm sure I'll end up noshing here at some point, as I will definitely be back many times on my way to and from my various adventures :-)
