I have lived here for 9 months. Thoroughly unimpressed. Cheap apartments, and for good reason. Parking spots are great...if you own a mini cooper or smart car. Otherwise, expect to get dinged, regularly and often. Appliances and cabinets are really old, unless you pay extra for an upgrade. Poor lighting and few windows so hooray if you like living in a dungeon or cave. Maintenance is questionable. New staff member barely speaks English and woke me up by yelling words no person could understand. I thought he was a noisy neighbor OUTSIDE so I opened my bedroom door to find him IN MY KITCHEN! I had never seen him before and I was naked. I had called maintenance over 2 weeks prior so I had NO reason to think he was maintenance. Finally, I was notified on Aug.6, 2012 that I owe Presidio an additional $300 plus a $90 late fee for rent. Funny, because I paid my $700 rent on TIME and my check cleared and my bill said $700, not $1000. This is because my lease expired and I'm month to month. At the office I tried to explain why/how this is unfair and wrong and a girl right next to me was having a conversation with yet ANOTHER staffer (whose head has been firmly lodged into their asses as well,) about the same issue. They simply could NOT comprehend why it's unfair to NOT notify people that their rent has increased, until 6 days later and the fees have already piled up. Guess how I could get rid of the fees and what the girl next to me did? Renew my lease. In their dreams...
