  • So I lived in Charlotte for about 5 years during my years of undergrad and never ate at Pinky's - biggest mistake EVER! This place is amazing! When walking in, it's eclectic and a little wild but clean and cute. The restaurant isn't that big and fills up fast so you might need to call ahead or get there before the dinner rush. The prices are extremely reasonable and the flavors that come with the food with knock your tastebuds out of this world! The crab puppies are a must !!!!! The crab puppies will make you feel like your are sitting on the Maryland Harbor living it up! It is filled, i mean really really filled, with sweet crab meat that they don't hold back on. The puppies are big and just amazing! And the homemade tartar sauce is out of this world. Finally- the grilled chicken salad with crispy onions is MORE THAN AMAZING it is more than OUT OF THIS WORLD, it is heaven sent!!!!!! Although there is more chicken and onions than salad it's just too good to care! I would recommend, unless you really truly honestly love onions to leave the red onions out because the fried onions do a great job. Oh and the HOMEMADE RANCHHH! A true Southern just has a special place in their heart for well done homemade ranch and this one takes the cake. Overall, this is place you must stop and try and take extra socks because the food here will knock them off! Easily! Quickly! Truly and Honestly!
