| - Some good things and some not so good things about this place. More of the latter and that's why it is two stars for me.
Thumbs up: The appetizers. There is a good selection and at a solid price point. The bruschetta is very good and quite a bit of food. The wings looked good. I actually ordered some and they never came out (see the Thumbs Down section below). I think the beer and wine selection is decent, more so the wine, and the prices are fair - not overly expensive, but not necessarily a bargain either.
Thumbs down: The entrees are good, but not at the price they are set. $24 for four average-sized shrimp and spaghetti squash. I think I would've felt satisfied with it at $15, but nothing more. So, in my opinion, it's outrageous. My friends had the salmon with quinoa and broccoli at $25. I probably would've pinned that meal at around $18. All of this is a matter of perception so that's just my opinion. Although, I think it's a very fair opinion. What is not up for debate is the service. I was disappointed about not getting the wings after I ordered them. They just totally whiffed on it and actually were going to put it on the final bill until I reminded them when the entrees came out that the wings had never made it. Returning to my table and saying, "I made sure to take it off the bill" was a dead giveaway. Thanks, bro. I appreciate you taking off the item that actually never made it to the table.
Given that there are so many food options in Scottsdale, I don't think I'll be back unless it's just for a drink.
