  • WOW! I cannot believe the price they quoted me for an exhaust manifold gasket repair. I have three bolts broken off on my 460, and the gaskets are not seating correctly so it is a bit loud. They gave me two quotes one for over $1700.00 and the other for over $1100.00. Absolutely ridiculous. The quote they gave me included $462.00 for a bolt kit. WTF? did they think I was rebuilding my motor. The girl said she called the Ford store and asked them what she needed. Don't they know? First of all never call the dealer for prices as they are sky high. Call a parts place like NAPA, AutoZone, Rock Auto etc. Same quality half the cost. same warranty. Either they are incompetent or they are just ripping people off. I will tell everyone I know to stay away!!! By the way I am a custom car builder and have built many cars. I had a shop in Washington state and would have done this myself had I been there but I do not have the tools I need here in AZ. I will buy them and do it my self in my garage now. STAY AWAY!! P.S. When I was waiting to talk to them, I heard them give a woman a quote for a transmission flush for $285.00!!!! Aamco charges around $80.00. I would love for the owner to call me and explain this!!
