  • This has got to be the worst Verizon location. It's always busy, and you have to wait forever. I used to go to the one in Monroeville Mall before they closed it, because the wait was much shorter. Most of the wireless employees are pretty nice and helpful though, which is the only good thing I can say about this location. I recently went in to check out FIOS. I had already looked online the day before and found the package and price I was interested in paying. Online, they give you free installation as well. So I go in, and start talking to the guy. He says I may as well get the triple play bundle, even though I told him I had no intention of ever using the home phone. He said it comes out to be cheaper because they give you a free DVR for a year, then I could call and get rid of the phone after the first year. So I say ok, that sounds fine. So he gets the package all pulled up, and it was going to be $124 a month before taxes. I said hold on, it was only $94.99 online with the DVR for the double play, and I wasn't going to pay $124.. So he says ok, he'll sign me up for the double play instead. So he goes in there, gets it all up, and says ok, you're all set. But the price was $104.99 before taxes! I told him it is cheaper online, I'll just go home and sign up. He says no no, wait, I can sign you up online. At this point I'm getting annoyed, but I say ok. So we go through the whole thing again, and it comes out to be $94.99. I think everything is ok Well, we get through the whole thing, get my installation date all set up, and then he prints out the bill. It says my bill is now $99.99, plus taxes. Plus I have to pay for the installation which is $60! I said installation was free if you sign up online, so he tells me after I get my first bill, which will charge me $20 (for the first of three $20 installation charges), I can call him up and he'll waive the activation fee. I didn't feel like dealing with the guy, because he was kind of the sheister salesman type guy, and I knew he would try talking me into something else, I just said ok and left, because he gave me the number to cancel if I wanted before my installation date, which I will definitely have to do.
