  • Cosmopolitan transforms one of the outdoor pools into mini ice skating rink during the wintertime to offer some holiday fun. There are some seating area (first come first served) with patio chairs and tables (picnic and high tops) close by the bar where you can order food and hot cocoa. The better viewing areas with fire pit require reservation/fee. Ice Skating Rates: Admission $15 ($10 with local ID, Mon-Fri) Rental $5 Bobby (ice skating aid) $10 for 90 min Hand warmers $2 PRO: - non-gambling attractions in Vegas for families or dates - beautiful at night skating outdoors with snow machine blowing the flurries CON: The concept is great, but the skating area is quite small without people monitoring the capacity to ensure safety. The workers do check that you have paid for admission, but it was quite dangerous when it was really crowded over the holidays.
