| - 4.5 Stars. Been wanting to go here for a while and Saturday night Turned out to be the night we finally went. Boy, sure glad we did. The food was tremendous, our server was really good and we got something we don't find a lot of in restaurants - value. Started with the deviled eggs and they are a must. 6 halves, 2 of each kind - regular, pickle and bacon. MMM. I had the crawfish bisque and this is the reason for the 1/2 star off. Taste was really solid, but it was a little thin for a bisque and there were no chunks of crawfish in it. Not a one. For dinner, my daughter had a burger. I tried a bite and it was tremendous. Someone put on a review of this place that the burgers were the best around. Not sure if they are the best, but they are really up there. I had shrimp and grits which were great, even though they were in a brown gravy. Wife is dairy free and they were so accommodating to make the braised short ribs without the dairy. Killer good, be they are off the chart if you get them made the regular way. Last but absolutely not least was dessert - fried blueberry pie! Are you kidding me? think of a hostess pie from when you were a kid, deep fry it, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top and oh yeah, lop a scoop of some of the best vanilla ice cream on it. OYE!!! First time there, definitely not the last.
