  • So live and work all within a 5 block radius and figured this location would be super easy to access. I like working out early mornings and after work. However, whenever I go to this location I feel like I am a sardine in a tin can. It's so grossly over populated that I can only get in about 5 minutes of weights, there's like 4 weight benches? So getting on is out of the question. If you are looking to use 20 pound dumbells or lower, good luck. They are taken. Usually about a 10 to 15 minute wait for the squat rack so you could run on the spot as your warm up while waiting... if there aren't 30 people cramped into the weight space while is smaller than my one bedroom apartment. When I first went in for my pass the guy didn't even give me a proper tour. I had no idea where most equipment was and found myself wandering aimlessly for about 15 minutes before I found somewhere to do knee raises. Let's talk about the washrooms.... apparently they don't believe in cleaning them because there were gobs of hair in the shower and tons of toilet paper on the floor in three stalls. They don't provide a hair straightener or curling iron and towel service is extra. There's no kleenex or paper towel in the washroom so I hope you enjoy blowing your nose or wiping sweat off your face with 1 ply tp. I've yet to have a single staff member speak to me on the floor. Not very friendly it would seem and not very proactive about the business and upselling training. My introduction to pricing was 1 year or 2 year and as soon as I asked about month to month I was told how much of a pain it was to set up and that I'd have to do paperwork every month. Annoying. Buddy didn't even talk about training options or (as I later found out) membership includes a training session. I also got a really great story about how terrible all the other gyms are and how I'd be back so I might as well sign up now to get two weeks for free after I put down first, last, and membership fee... The positive things? The morning girl is super nice and friendly. There's a ton of good looking people that work out there. If you want to work out in a gym where no one speaks it's an excellent option! I think I'll stick with my world health membership. For the same month to month fee I get towels, hair electronics, shampoo conditioner, lotion, kleenex, clean facilities, WAY less people, and automatic monthly dues. I'd take a hard pass on this one folks.
