Well so much for their previous 4 star review. I Made reservations for Valentines day 2018 at, get this, 4 pm because by Jan 27th this was all that was available. We thought why not, early dinner and the evening to ourselves. Plenty of parking at 4 as well and we hoped the place wouldn't be packed. 21 open tables and they seated us basically in our own section! AWESOME!! We were rejoicing. Very quiet and private, BUT WAIT FOR IT.....Here comes the hostess with another couple and she parked them right next to us!! 21 OPEN TABLES!!!!!! I could smell the guys cologne better than my wife's perfume. He was not happy as well, as noted by the rolling of his eyes. There wasn't room in between our tables to fit a good sized waiter. I decided I would have a word with one of the "Operating Partners" what the ---- is that? He looked the situation over and asked if WE wanted to move. Are you serious? What are the people who just sat on our laps going to think if we up and move now that they showed up. Not well versed at his craft, he did nothing and said nothing to his hostess' as they kept bunching people up with plenty of open space, it continued for the next hour.
The food well that's different, always awesome no matter what we order, never a disappointment and the wait staff are top notch otherwise I'd have rendered 2 stars. I Decided to give Fleming's a very long break while I search for a better organized eating experience. Been here 5 times at least. This type of seating situation occurs an awful lot around the Phoenix area. I guess we're supposed to get to know our neighbors and sit close enough to eat off their plate.
