I came to this store and was immediately intrigued by its atmosphere. I was strolling along thinking how it reminded me of IKEA when I came along the kitchen section. It occurred to me that I needed a stone pot as I was hoping to try make bibimbap. So I ask the employee since I don't know much about cooking utensils if the store carries stone pots.
He replies is it okay if you need a flame to burn the bottom? My stove doesn't have a flame and I can't think of anything in my house that would be safe to burn under the pot so I figured I'd just explain that I was trying to make bibimbap (apologizing for my terrible pronunciation)
He then loudly says that the store is Japanese and not Korean and they don't have that there. He came off extremely aggressive and made me feel like I had been racist. It's extremely hurtful because I would never have presumed something like that but I imagined the stone pot could be used for more than just bibimbap and I didn't know how else to explain the pot because I didn't know exactly what I was looking for.
I will never return to this store purely because I was so embarrassed in front of my friends and the other customers. I suggest you hire new sales staff that are less aggressive and more helpful.
