  • Everyone knows I *love* to bowl, (my wife may tell you that I'm not nearly the bowler I think I am (!), but I beg to differ...) so it should come to no surprise that you will find me at AMF most days. Maybe it should stand for Any Monday-Friday, because that's how much I'm there....... I just can't stop bowling! This place gets a 300! 11 am-5pm 8 dollars for ALL YOU CAN BOWL? are you kidding me?! WHAT_A_DEAL Soon after this deal began I had a chat with my boss about changing shifts, working nights. He eventually caved, put me on the graveyard shift, and opened up my days for bowling. That's when my game truly went to the next level. Now I've heard the rumors about the rental shoes, but in this day and age, who is renting instead of owning? (?!) Its 2013 people!. Such a great place, and that's the only negative thing I've ever heard. Staff messing with rental shoes is pretty standard at every bowling alley as far as I've heard. And 8 dollars for ALL you can bowl more than makes up for it. One piece of advice: Pace yourself. Drink lots of water. You don't want to throw your shoulder out from bowling lane after lane after lane after lane. Your wife will notice, and ask questions about how often youve been bowling. 6 hours is a long time to be throwing a heavy ball over and over so take your time. You don't want to blow out your forearms. In a city like Phoenix, where bowling is king, the AMF is the palace. SO many great memories here, for myself and so many others.
