  • OMG! There are not many restaurants that leave you with the feeling that you have had not only the most exceptional service, but the most fantastic meal you've had in years. Avanti is one of those places. Our server Sergio was unlike many waiters you see today. Not only was the service exceptional, but his knowledge of the food the wine etc. was stellar. We started off with the fried calamari which is some of the best we've ever had. The salads were fresh crisp in the dressing was delicious. Our table had Seabass which was light with the most delicious vegetables to accompany it. Another person in our party had the meat lasagna would you describe is the best he has ever had. I had the chicken Parmesan which was enough for two people and brought half of it home. Delicious. Try the desserts which will not disappoint. The chocolate mousse cake is out of this world and the tiaramasu is light, delicious and was gone in two seconds. Now let's get real, this is not a place you would go every week, however the prices are reasonable for the service, exceptional food and atmosphere. A great place for a special occasion. They been in business since 1974 so they must be doing something right.
