'VIP' EXPERIENCE: Thought I'd give the VIP and their lounge/bar experience a try on a regular night (not a Tuesday - where tickets are discounted). Food was so mediocre. Service was very poor and quite slow. (No kids allowed in VIP - have to be 19+).
Ambience: Their lounge is decent, nothing too special. Very comfortable couches and bar tables. Very small bar.
Deserts: I ordered a salted caramel milkshake and their churros (about $17 total). Fairly disappointed. Their milkshake had absolutely no salted caramel taste. Tasted like pure Breyer's vanilla ice cream. They put way too put heavy cream, it took up almost 1/3 of the glass. Way too sweet and thick for me. Churros came with a caramel and strawberry sauce. Too bad the churros were way overdone, didn't have the right texture. They gave me 4 sticks, I only ate 2 because it was that bad (and I rarely waste food)!
Service: I had to talk to 3 different servers just to punch in my goddamn order at the lounge. They forgot my order, and I had to repeat it at least 4 times that night. My servers were rude and standoff-ish, too busy chatting with their other coworkers/ managers instead of attending to their guests. Really? Terrible experience! Train your staff better!
VIP theatre: Enjoyed the bigger, comfier chairs with more room and a side table. Only about 20 seats in a VIP theatre, more intimate. More spacious between chairs.
Conclusion: Don't come here for the desserts, they're not really a 'real' restaurant. Service was sub-par. Please spare the $25 VIP movie ticket and a bad mood - unless you really want that extra chair/ leg room!
