I was over $10k upside down on a 2007 Mini Cooper that also needed some significant repairs. I have, sadly, been in this type of situation before and other dealerships made me feel hopeless and pretty awful about myself. This was not the case at AutoNation. Cheyenne (Sales) was friendly, courteous and professional. I worked with Robert in finance. Despite my bleak financial situation, they were able to get me into a brand new Versa with a payment I was comfortable with. Robert showed me exactly what he was doing with the numbers (even though I didn't understand). It's refreshing to be treated with respect when purchasing a car. There was no pressure to buy that day.
The best part of my experience was the way that I was treated while I was at their dealership. Most dealerships would have walked away from me and my Mini. Everyone was determined to help me get out of my horrible situation, even if it meant taking a hit on their end. I could tell they were truly happy to help me, and not just to make a sale. I can not express enough how great it feels to have a car that I can trust and feel safe in.
Also, never buy a mini cooper. Ever. you will regret it. especially if you go to mini of tempe.
