| - We seriously loved Aria. Let's start with the environment - the place is beautiful. The lighting is tasteful and fun. The bar is enormous, which is great for walk-ins. The open format allows for a relaxed but sumptuous atmosphere.
We sat at the bar, which was relatively empty considering it was 8pm on Saturday night (it was the night before Easter, so there were definitely a lot of folks out of town). We sat in the corner and started off with cocktails - a classic mojito and a lavender/vodka drink - both delicious. Their cocktails/wine/beer lists are all extensive and impressive. I probably would have tried any cocktail on the menu.
We skipped apps and just ordered entrees. We were given warm bread and traditional Italian white bean spread while we waited. I had pesto pasta, which was delicious. The pasta was fresh and the pesto was the perfect amount of nutty. My mom got the fancy steak (forgive me, as a vegetarian I don't remember the cut) and while she was disappointed at the size considering the price ($38 I believe), she said it was all delicious. We looked at the dessert menu but as chocolate lovers, nothing stuck out to us.
All in all, Aria is a great spot for those craving a fine-dining, NYC-esque experience. I will definitely be back, first for the cocktails, then for the food.
