Headed to Dick's Hideaway this past weekend and it was 'fine'. We had drinks and dinner (4 of us). The service made us feel like we were an annoyance (and let me be clear, we were as unoffensive and easy as customers can be) and the food was just so-so. I had the prime rib, and it was so salty and overly spicy that I just skipped it and focused on the side dishes (vegies were good). My husband had the scallop salad. He said it was good, but 4 scallops wasn't enough for a main dish. We also had guacamole - which was fine, but nothing special. Twice we ordered drinks that never arrived as well. I can see why people like this place because the location and ambiance is good... but the food and service just didn't do it for me.
