I have seen about 5 shows at the Fillmore. Overall, the music has been very good. Beer is overpriced but not much more than what you'd pay at a sporting event or another concert venue. VIP is misleading and overpriced. The beams that run from the floor to ceiling, also obstruct your view in the VIP section. The $25.00 entry upgrade just allows access to the VIP Section. If you want to sit down it will cost you another $50.00 per person. Bartenders were nice. Security is not very friendly. What really ticked me off about the security was the way we were basically kicked off the property while waiting for our driver. We were standing in front of the venue waiting for our driver and security made us get off the property and onto the sidewalk. Standing on the sidewalk blocks people from walking to the parking lot. And they get mad because you're in the way. So, this is what a VIP show cost. $45 dollar ticket, $25.00 VIP access, $50.00 surcharge to sit down and $22.00 for 2 Miller High Life Drafts. And, then ran off the property afterwards. I would not recommend VIP unless it is for a show you really want to see. A bit much for what you get.
