| - I was a loyal customer of Landmark at KSDL since 2009, with several different aircraft (GA, turbo prop and jet), and by in far, I received excellent service during that time. However, that all changed in early 2015, when I got a phone call advising that one of my upcoming business trips (which I had originally scheduled in September 2014 and confirmed with them again in December 2014) was going to overlap for a few days with the Super Bowl, and accordingly, that they now wanted to extort from me a $500 landing fee plus a usurus $50 per day parking fee (both of which would be ridiculous for a small GA Cirrus). I asked to have the manager call me to discuss, but that request was ignored and I never heard back from anyone, so it caused me to have to change my travel plans at the last minute. In my opinion, this is not how you treat a longstanding loyal customer. They had 4+ years notice that the SB event was coming to town, and to the extent that they wanted to capitalize on the additional revenue opportunity, I feel that they should have made that known with more notice (such as when my reservation was made or confirmed). Landmark is/was completely unapologetic about assessing this exorbitant fee at the last minute to a small GA pilot, and the fact that I did not even get the courtesy of a return phone call from the manager to discuss it, unfortunately makes me want to take my future business elsewhere.
