| - Just moved here so I was on a haunt for a good barber to replace my old barber. I looked for a barber shop that had a somewhat good review and was close to school. I called them to ask about their prices and at the time I called, the guy that answered the phone said $13 for a men's haircut. When I got in, they asked if I had an appointment which I didn't so they were playing tag to see who wants to get up their seat and give a haircut. A short guy with a relatively curly hair asked what kind of haircut I wanted. My regular haircut is a somewhat low fade but a bit higher, I asked for number 1 on the sides because I wasn't sure it would be good. For the top it was number 7 clip. My haircut seemed too low so I asked if I can get it higher, he said you asked for low fade and I said I understand but can you make it a little higher. From then on his body language changed like he was mad or something. He tried to line me up without asking me and lining up is not my thing and it was good that I asked him no before he got too far into it. In the end the haircut was just ok. He showed me the mirror, the haircut wasn't messed up or anything but I did not like how low it was in the back, I asked him could be make it higher and he gave this look like he didn't want to do it, so I said if you don't have time I can just do it for next time. He did it for me anyways but he looked like he was annoyed. When it was finished he didn't even show me the mirror and just took off my robe. I asked how much and he said $15, I told him that the price when I called was $13 and he said its not a regular haircut, it's special, I LOLed big time and was like this ain't special so I have him a $20 and got my change and left without tipping him or saying anything else. I usually leave barbers a $3-5 tip regardless of the cut outcome but this one, I'm not sure what your name is but you give this barber shop a bad name. There's a chance that I will come back but I wouldn't get one from that guy. No sirrreee...
