  • The five stars goes to Thelma, She knows who she is, and to all the cleaning staff at this extra clean hospital, Merry Christmas to you all! As for Dr. Kwan and staff, each person is exemplary at what they do and for that we are extremely grateful. That said, I have never in my 62 years seen anyone treated like my wife was treated at this hospital. Having double surgery wasn't bad enough so the male Tech that took her blood at 5 am blew out her vein and left like nothing happened! A huge knot formed under her skin and was found by another orderly that stopped by just to check on her. When I ask the duty nurse, she acted as if she knew nothing of the person or that in fact any wrong doing had happened at all?? Being a retired union man, I can relate to the band of brothers sticking together, holding out to the last minute in hopes that I will go away. Well, That's the way it is under normal circumstances I'm sure, not this time, I intend to write letters as I did in the day and try to figure out why that the floor Superintendent either wasn't notified or was and didn't care, because it happens so much that she is immune to the complaints? I am well versed and am a squeaky wheel that, by profession, will not go away until greased. My goal is to bring recognition where it is due in hopes of saving the next person from going through it.
