  • Forget about the zombie apocalypse, I got guns I'm not worried...but the women carrying their baskets ferociously stocking up on beauty supplies...I have no means of defending myself from them! Twice a year during Spring & Fall the warehouse sends out multiple invitations to selected clients, each invitation is good for two visits with the entrance of two customers at each time. I get about 24 tickets every season and it has made me very popular among my female friends. It's totally cool to give them away, but the sale of these tickets are strictly forbidden. You will be taken off of the invitation list if you are caught selling them. The sale is usually under two months, and they are never open during Tuesdays & Wednesdays. There are security guards at the door checking for invitations, and you cannot buy anything unless you have a ticket to be scanned at the cashier. You are limited up to $600 in products each visit, and if you go on the weekend, prepare to line up like a friggin centipede. I visited the sale on a Monday just after lunch, there was no line going into the warehouse. There were two guys with reflective jackets waving you into a narrow parking lot near the warehouse, and Queenie (my ride) stupidly followed their direction into the $10 lot. She then immediately realised that she could have parked on the street..closer to the entrance...for free. She punished my ears for a good twenty minutes--as if somehow it was my fault that she parked there! All of the things you wouldn't buy anyway are priced at 1-3 dollars, the shampoos are about 20-50% off, but it's only worth the drive if you end up buying it in packages. There are a lot of stuff, and there are some employees restocking the shelves every hour. Most of the products being sold here are damaged and deemed unfit for retail display. The packaging have marks, rips, or otherwise defaced. All the brands being sold are owned by L'OREAL, which limits my purchasing. I do use Vichy, and I guess the prices here are decent. Despite the sale prices, I still find it a little high for me to splurge. I ended up buying two shampoo packages, two gift wrapped L'OREAL boxes not knowing what is inside, one facial scrub and one shampoo. It came out to a total of $120. I would never have spent that much at the drug store..so I feel this place somehow tricked me. Listen, it's not because that I am I guy and don't get excited for these things. La Senza had a $2/panty sale and I was there for an hour rifling through the bins with other savagely behaved customers...this is just not that big of a sale, and the stuff sold is just okay. I still don't know what's in the boxes now!
