  • I know iDeal coffee from when I use to live in Kensington Market. It was a great local hangout though I'm not a huge fan of their espresso. Decided to check out their location on Ossington. I have to say the espresso here tasted much better than what I have had previously from this roaster. This is a nice location, formerly a laundromat the conversion to cafe went well and I find the atmosphere to be low key and comfortable. Bonus points for Hard Bop Jazz on the sound system. The service was good, the barista competent and friendly. Though I still have had better espresso at other cafe's, again I was quite happy with the shot I got here. Word is that they will be expanding to more regular coffee roasts in the future so it's worth checking out to see what they have on offer. 31/2 stars.
