| - What a wonderful group of professionals. I found out late on a Thursday afternoon that I needed a root canal immediately. My dentist gave me a recommendation for 2 different endodontists. I called both offices first thing Friday morning. Neither practice was open, even though their outgoing answering machine message said they were open on Fridays. I was in immense pain, so I began calling endodontists off the internet. One of the offices I called, that listed themselves as endodontists were only general dentists, and could not do a root canal on a molar. At least this dentist office, referred me to Dr. Chopra. Halleluiah! But, it's Friday and most offices are not open, AND I'm a new patient and desperate. The appointment associate was very pleasant and professional. She said she had just filled the last emergency appointment, but would see if she could work me in. After a brief hold, she told me they would see me for an evaluation, and go from there, but I would need to be patient, and could expect to wait. I went straight over, and was taken back in a very reasonable length of time. While I was there I overheard the front office staff take many more emergency calls. They were kind, and professional to everyone. They did not turn anyone away. I'm sitting there in pain, but I'm impressed, because there's only one doctor on staff that day. The office became extremely busy, with people like me. The assistant who helped me was very professional, and compassionate, while doing the necessary preliminary tests. Then Dr Chopra came in, greeted me, and after some tests and X-rays, informed me that I did indeed need a root canal, but on a different tooth than my dentist and I first thought. Dr.Chopra informed me that they could proceed with the root canal, and introduced me to Dr Campbell, another endodontist, who would be doing my procedure. They did not turn any of us away, because they were too busy; they called in more doctors!!! What a concept! I was there for most of the day, but young Dr. Campbell completed the root canal; taking the time to explain things all along the way. He did a super job, and I am now out of pain!
This practice is state of the art, and equipped with amazing digital technology to show the patient images of their teeth at every stage of the procedure. From the front office, to the assistants, to the doctors, Ballantyne Endodontics goes above and beyond to help people, whether they are established or an emergency new patient. I can't say thank enough to these fine people!
