| - So, I've heard a lot about these floating pods and decided to finally try one out.
It was middle of the afternoon on a Monday so I got in and was pretty much seen and put in my float room immediately, which was nice.
Honestly.....the first maybe 15-20 mins were kinda cool, but after the relaxing spa music went off and I just lay there floating in my pod in the dark I got kinda bored. As another Yelper said, this is probably more for people who regularly meditate and do mindfulness exercises and I guess floating in salty water for an hour just isn't my jam.
Regarding the actual place, though, it was nice. Beautiful, clean, when I called and no one answered they called me back very promptly. The pods are really neat looking and the staff person walked me through what to do and how it works.
The price per float is quite steep in my opinion, but if you like it and go back, it gets a lot cheaper. So if it's something you enjoy, def. buy a package....if it's your first time floating, maybe don't, because like I said, I think this kind of therapy is really for people with specific meditation tastes.
