| - I wish I wasn't staying here. That's really the bottom line.
For the most part, it's just your typical Vegas hotel and casino (mixed with the Hard Rock Cafe type decor, of course). The problem is that the "amenities" are $28 per night extra at check in, and you definitely don't get what you pay for. Pool hours are too short, spa services are incredibly spendy, wireless is constantly dropping and so you have to repeatedly sign in, housekeeping is horrid, and room service doesn't take away their trays (my neighboring rooms' leftovers are still sitting out in the hallway after 13 plus hours). There is a shuttle to the strip (the Hard Rock is two plus miles away), but that only runs until 5pm.
Housekeeping especially needs to be touched on as my room was gross before I even checked in. The shower curtain had obvious microbead shower soap goo all over the inside, but it took speaking to three different people to get a clean one. The hair dryer and that bag that it hangs in are both spattered in crud, the carpet had clothing stickers on it from the previous tenants (center of the room, so pretty obvious), and there's a cleaning rag left in the corner. It really makes me think about what other less obvious gunk has been left behind.
Plus, I have a room with one of those adjoining doors between me and my neighbor to one side, which has no sound proofing (let's just say that I know to much about a stranger's intimacy preferences now).
There are several other things that could be improved upon, but I'm sure someone else's review has touched on them. The issues I listed here are plenty enough to leave me an unhappy customer without having to list them all.
