I took my 2010 Toyota Prius a few days ago to check on an oil leak. My service writer was Frank Cruz. My car was diagnosed with a transmission fluid leak due to aging front axle seals. I was quoted $850 after tax. I was not given the full breakdown of the cost of labor, parts and taxes. I was told it would take 4-5 hours to complete. I knew right away that quote can NOT be correct. I took my car to Brakes-plus and got it repaired in 2 hours with a cost of $240 after tax. I would recommend anyone to never use Autonation Toyota's service department. A 600 dollar up charge is ridiculous even by dealership standards. I use to get my oil changes here all the time. Yeah, I'm never coming back.
