  • This is a little store inside a Chinese mall at Warden and Steeles on Ferrier Street. It's owned by lady named Connie who is extremely knowledgeable in knitting and crocheting the Japanese way. She once told me she went and studied in Japan for this!!! There are tons of pattern books to choose from and Connie will help you with any pattern using the yarn of your choice, based on your own knitting tension, so she can tailor anything to anyone! Although she has been in business for a very long time, she is always aware of the latest trends in knitting & crocheting. Knitting the Japanese way is really flexible, and the quality of the finished product is extremely good because of the special Japanese technique that goes into the craft! Connie also sells fine quality Japanese yarn (if you do something handmade, you need to use the best). Pieces that I have made in the past last a tremendously long time due to the quality of the yarn and endure years of frequent washing!! This place is truly a paradise to those who love to knit and those who have high standards on quality.
