  • Found this company through a Groupon deal. I noticed it particularly because it included a few more perks versus the other ballooning companies. They have a smaller basket (6), which means a more intimate setting versus the 20 or so people in the neighboring launch site. At the very end, it included champagne, (which we found out to be a ballooning tradition) brunch, and a momento. The flight crew was amazing. Every single one of them made the experience very special. Their basket is also ADA accessible, which makes sense because part of the funds collect from us gets put towards the charity for the wounded warrior. This was my very first ballooning experience, which was especially memorable because my boyfriend was with me. The view was beautiful & I even enjoyed our sporty landing. You really have to be a "go with the flow" kind of person because you literally go where the wind takes you. You can control some parts, but not much. It was exhilarating! The only thing I didn't like was sharing the experience with a group I didn't know. It isn't that I'm not a social person or that I don't like meeting new people, they just weren't...people I would normally share a moment with. Going back to the flight crew being amazing, they work on tips. It disgusted me that the people we shared the basket with didn't tip them for giving us such a great experience. Funny thing, this was our 2nd time trying to fly. The first time got cancelled because the people we were sharing the flight with didn't understand the concept of being punctual. So I'm thankful we didn't go with them. They seemed even worse than the people we went up with. In addition to about the flight crew, Kevin & all of them just made a year, and I want them to continue, but they can't if people aren't appreciative of what they do. Oh also, the initial heat of the gas can be bothersome, especially if you're not expecting it. But all in all, it was great. I got to check off an item from my bucket list & made some memories. I'd recommend this to anyone who's willing.
