Mobile ordered on the app, went in the store about two minutes later. I ordered a drink and two breakfast items. My drink was fine, but one of my sandwiches was cold AND burned (how does that even happen?) and I was given the wrong bagel. I even checked the app after leaving- they were not out of stock of the bagel I ordered. They weren't too busy (about 5 people including myself in the cafe, only 2 of us ordering) so I don't know how/why they could've overlooked those problems.
On top of that, a man and his son ordered a few drinks and a muffin, and after receiving it he handed it back to the barista and asked her if she could warm it up. I get it, you're supposed to ask for that first, and it was completely his fault... but after taking it, the barista who warmed it up continued to make comments like "if you wanted it warmed you would've ordered it that way..." "it's too f*cking easy to order it warmed in the first place" etc etc. She was saying it so loud I could hear, and I'm sure he could too. After it was warmed she tossed it on the handoff plane and didn't call his name or at least make eye contact with him. I've never seen a Starbucks employee be more blatantly rude to a customer.
I've heard this store will be closing and will reopen down the street on 83rd and Thunderbird... I can only hope that it's an improvement for them.
