  • I have travelled extensively and visited too many churches to count... Yet, when I stepped foot in this Basilica I felt awed and humbled at the same time. It is truly a magnificent building and it has a beautiful story. The entrance fee is very inexpensive ($5 a person) considering that it goes towards the maintenance of the church. We took the guided tour with Manon (included in the entrance fee) and loved her: besides being very professional, she was able to guide us through the history of the church in a smooth and delicate way. We also liked the tour in the Chapel of Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur, which was being prepared for a wedding and was beautifully decorated. We came here to attend Mass on Sunday morning and will never forget the experience of hearing the organ and the church bells rings. We vowed to be back soon.
