  • I still enjoy dining at Nu, but recent changes mean that it is more of a "special occasion" brunch destination, than a typical brunch go-to. Chief among the changes is a significant price hike. Now, this does comes with access to a table of breads, cakes and other items that you can add to your dish, but they are not worth the extra added to your total. You cannot "opt-out" of the buffet of extras. To give an example, three of us just had brunch, each getting a typical dish (e.g., eggs benedict) and coffee, and our total came to $73 (including tip). When brunch approaches $25 per person, going out feels more like an event than a typical start to a Sunday, which is a shame because the food and service remain strong.
